I live in a tiny town in WI. There are no Jews here except my family, but I met here a man, a Christian, who goes to Israel every other year as a volunteer for three months. He is a big fan and supporter of Israel.
Another great hub on Israel - most of those facts were new to me, too.
Interesting facts on Jerusalem. Only one is not 10o% correct.
King David was not buried on Mt. Zion, tradition tells us that he is buried there.
His real burial place would have been in the City of David, as the Tanakh says: David was buried in his city.

I've been working on a project involving the city of Jerusalem, and I've been trying to find resources that could bring me a little perspective about the culture, but none really fit the bill. This site has been the first to really show me something about what the culture in Jerusalem finds important.
